Campaigns and Actions

Through targeted advocacy campaigns, UUSC bolsters its work with grassroots organizations by seeking to achieve systemic change at the highest levels of policy. UUSC's campaigns provide members and supporters strategic opportunities to contribute directly to efforts to achieve positive change. These range from contacting elected representatives and other government officials to press for specific policy objectives, to taking part in marches and protests.

Drumbeat for Darfur

Currently UUSC's signature campaign, Drumbeat for Darfur raises the decibel level of voices urging the U.S. government and other influential institutions to make ending the genocide one of their highest priorities.

Gulf Coast advocacy

UUSC continues to work with partners in the region and other concerned groups to achieve equitable recovery for the people of the Gulf Coast.
